Arizona Immigration Law Argued at Supreme Court
I’m not sure who it’s helping when you have likely allies on the court questioning your own arguments:
“You can see it’s not selling very well,” Justice Sonia Sotomayor, a member of the court’s liberal wing and its first Hispanic justice, told Solicitor General Donald B. Verrilli Jr., referring to a central part of his argument against the measure.
Indeed, an important and frustrating piece to most Hispanic American citizens from Arizona SB1070, racial profiling, is not even being considered or argued. In fact, Hispanic advocacy groups leading immigration issues may have hurt themselves more so and, once again, have forgotten its own.
With arguments brought up on viewing the “…law against the backdrop of foreign policy considerations…”, it becomes easy fodder for justices appointed by conservatives.

Apple Now Has More Cash Than The U.S. Government
According to the latest daily statement from the U.S. Treasury, the government had an operating cash balance of $73.8 billion at the end of the day yesterday.
Apple’s last earnings report (PDF here) showed that the company had $76.2 billion in cash and marketable securities at the end of June.
Now, if the government could just release a product as good as the iPhone, then we’d all have better applications. See what I did there?
